How do you define wealth? Sounds like a simple question, but in truth, it can be a very difficult (not to mention different) answer depending on who you ask. If that is the case, how do you know when you have it?
Many people appear to live meager and miserly lives because they are unable to step back and define what real wealth is to them. They are unable to embrace the thought that real wealth does not necessarily begin and end with having lots of money. That is very one dimensional thinking which can lead to a life spent in continually seeking and acquiring money, but never reaching satisfaction.
A change of perspective may be necessary in order for you to feel wealthy. God wants us all to prosper. According to Philippians 4:19, God has promised to supply all of our needs.
If we follow God’s precepts, I submit that you must exam what you already have in your life and look on it with gratitude. Once you acquire the ability to be thankful for what is presented to you, it will not be as difficult to feel abundant and wealthy.
Here are some suggestions to help you define and feel wealthy and, from feeling wealthy, make it possible to gain a sense of satisfaction with life:
