Have you been trying different techniques on how to stand out from everyone else but nothing seems to work? Well these are four things that I do to get results.
1. Follow up.
Many of us attend events and make connections but we don't follow up. If time permits, I try to email people before I leave the event. That way, it decreases the chance of me possible losing their information and it shows that I am serious. Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.
2. Serve and not sale
We are bombarded every day with someone selling something. So if everyone is selling what would make a business stand out...serving. Serve your followers. When I say serve I mean give them information they can use. By providing useful information you build their trust. Then people are more inclined to purchase from you.
3. Get personal
Did you know that it cost 5 times more to get a new prospect to buy than a customer (according to this Forbes article)? So with that being said, get to know your customers. You've heard of the saying "It's cheaper to keep her". Your followers/customers want to know who you are, who they are doing business with and you should want to do the same with them. So fun fact about me. I have a bucket list and on my bucket list I want to milk a cow. WEIRD, I know....but seriously, lol.
4. Be the expert
Meaning perfect your craft. Continue learning. Network.Things change and people always want to be in the know. So be the one that keeps them updated by educating yourself and informing them.
