1. Get rid of idea of perfection and embrace the reality of grace.
Some of us hold on to the idea of how we expect things to go. If I do x, then I should get y. If I put in this many hours in my business, then I should make this amount of money. I wish that was the case. Running a business isn't easy and there is no set formula to guarantee success. We must embrace the reality of grace and know that things won't be perfect. There are going to be seasons in which you have long sleepless nights yet no sales. There are going to be days in which we planned everything down to the second, yet something unexpected happens and now we have to become flexible. Life happens. You can either be upset becuase things didn't go as planned or embrace the reality of life happens so let's make the best lemonade we can male with these lemons.
2. Set aside time aside for each aspect of your life.
Yes, you are a business owner but you are also an employee, wife, father, daughter, brother, and so much more to do many people. In addition to scheduling time in your business you must schedule family time, time with your spouse, time to hang out with the girls (or the guys), etc. And most importantly in which a lot of particular people miss, is "me time". You have to schedule me time. If you don't care of yourself, you will eventually won't be able to help others.
